L’Accademia d’Arte A’DA offers a classical course in which you will use sculpture and drawing to create sculptures using marble and clay just like the masters. The process starts with the selection of a subject, then learn how to convert a two-dimensional photo or drawing to a three-dimensional object.
CLAY MODELING
Getting your hands dirty is the first step in exploring the traditional technique of clay modeling sculpture. Here at AD’A you will learn all of the skills needed to create sculptures using clay, modeling tools, and how to train your hands to create works like the masters. This course will expand your knowledge of classical and contemporary sculpture and train your eye to work in 3D.
MARBLE SCULPTING
AD’A offers a practical course in marble sculpting that is taught from the same type of marble that Michelangelo used to create the infamous David.
In this course the student will explore the use of drawing and sculpting techniques to learn the challenging mastery of marble carving.
This course is not recommended for beginners.
